Rasam powder is a ready made powder for making Rasam. Rasam is nothing but a South Indian recipe which can be consumed along with plain rice. It is also good for digestion.
Pepper - 1 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 cup
Thoor dhal - 1 cup
Red chillies - 10 to 12
Curry leaves - 3 to 4 leaflets
Dryroast lightly all the above ingredients. Dry grind into coarse powder. Do not grind into smooth powder. Preserve in an airtight container and use. This powder can be preserved for one month for best flavour.
